 NEWS & EVENTSSalon 2012: March 22nd-25th, 2012 in Hamburg, GermanyThe 2012 Salon, the 17th international exhibition of decorative painting, will be located in a beautiful museum near the city center, named Hamburgmuseum. Visit: www.hamburgmuseum.de/index_e.html The museum was designed by the architect Fritz Schumacher and was built between 1914 and 1922. Salon exhibition dates will be from the 22nd - 25th March 2012. Hamburg's major landmark will provide Salon‘s theme, “Hamburg and the Harbour“. The cranes, the containers, the freighters and the jetties are all part of the vista around the River Elbe, which runs right through the city. Decorative painters from all over the world will show their work in an exhibition and share their techniques during demonstrations and informative lectures.
